Cards collected from all over the world, answered one simple question: "What makes your heart happy?" The cards were intended for refugee families; however, they were given to teachers in the refugee camps who wanted to hang them on the walls of the classrooms.
When children are asked to draw a picture, they draw pictures of drowning bodies, bombs, tears, families split apart, blood and death. These cards will provide new possibilities of happiness and new ways to think, instead of the cycle of violence and horror they are currently caught up in. Huge thanks to all who participated as I know each one of you personally put a smile on a refugee child's face! THANK YOU!
